Day 33 - Country Sunset

Our freeway was shut down over the weekend and as a result we had to take a different route to church. Set off of the main road was this barn which is some sort of historical building. I had no idea it even existed. When I saw it on Sunday I knew I needed to come back at some point this week and take a picture of it. It's so out of place set smack dab in the middle of the city but it made for a great photo at sunset.

Very worthwhile detour. I love the way the sun seems to light up the grass. A serene and peaceful setting.

I would never have guessed this was in the middle of the city! You did a great job of presenting it like it was in the middle of no where! I love the colors and drama it evokes. Nice job.

This is a gorgeous photo, Misty. I love the gold and green tones as well as the way you place the subject high up in the frame.
