Day 34 - Cheetah

Today we took the tram around our local theme park so we could see some animals up close. It was rather chilly today in the high 50s low 60s (I know everyone in the snow states is laughing, but for us that is cold!) This cheetah was warming himself in the sun. Made for some great lighting.

Cold?? Sounds like a heat wave to me! I love the way the lighting makes this guy just shine. Beautiful.

I have been going to our cheetah enclosure weekly hoping to spy our baby cheetah's, so far no luck, but I'll keep trying! :)

Temperature is all relative, right? 50-60 sounds wonderful to me right now! :) Although we do have mostly sunny skies today!

Great shot!

pretty kitty!! They always are more fun when the weather is cooler. That's the best time to go to the zoo!

fabulous capture, and yes after a winter full of 47" of snow, bitter cold winds, and ice like I haven't seen in years, low 60s would seem like a heat wave.

The lighting here is incredible--the cheetah glows! (PS for the cheetah's sake, I will try acknowledge that the low 60s are cold--it was zero here this morning.)
