This was one of my favorite books when I was a little girl. One of our local bookstores is closing down one of its locations and has all their books marked down. I was elated to find this book on clearance and had to buy it to share with my little girl.

My kids are teens now but I have to say that the fondest memories I have of their childhoods was reading to them and watching their love of books blossom....

I love this book too. I teach reading to 5th graders and I still love to pull out old favorite picture books to share with them. They still love to be read to even at 10 years old.
