Day 57 - Fresh and Sweet

Who doesn't love a nice fresh juicy strawberry? These babies are huge too! I wanted to use natural light coming in from the window but I needed to light the strawberries from the other side so I used my reflectors to add some extra light. I then imported the image into lightroom and used the adjustment brush to add some more exposure and make the background whiter. (ISO 400  36mm  f/5.6  1/13ss)

I keep forgetting to put down my settings and edits like you have asked. I usually am in a rush to get a picture posted at all. I hope when I do post them they are helpful to you.

I totally thing product photography is in your future. You have such and eye and natural ability! Thanks for sharing how you did this, but one other question...did you put them on white paper or something to get the ground and background to blend together? It looks so professional!

BTW, we must be soul sisters because I'm from CA too and there are way too many other similarities in our lives for it to all be coincidence! :o)

Great job on this. It looks very professional!

I'm always interested in how people set up lighting on indoor shots so that info was especially appreciated. I actually care less about the exposure settings and I rarely look at it when people post it.
