I've been wanting to take a moon shot for a while and tonight is a nice big bright full moon. Wish I had a 300mm or better but my 200mm worked fine enough.
I wish I had a 500mm..........dont´t let it trouble you. It´s a wonderful photo from the full moon! (I have a 300mm and no november fullmoon photo because of clouds)

something about the moon has always felt calming. soothing. peaceful. and my children, especially jacob love it too. when he was little-er :) he called the moon HIS moon!
Beautiful! I love capturing the moon and it was just gorgeously displayed this week. I had the perfect opportunity at the soccer fields the other night, there were some cool clouds drifting across the full moon...but I left my camera at home so I missed out. I was kicking myself for that. Your shot is lovely.
