Throughout life we're constantly learning and developing new skills.  I'm a student studying for a Master's Degree in Wisdom which will take a lifetime to achieve.   My private tutor is the Holy Spirit and He leads me in my studies and directs my thoughts and prayers.  I've been on this degree course for over 20 years and along the way I've been blessed with a loving husband, 3 very energetic sons and recently a beautiful daughter-in-law.  Each one of us in the family is studying the same degree course though we're all at different levels of attainment.  There's much opposition to this degree course and sometimes I let the world distract me from my studies.

John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

1# Course Overview

It's a masters degree that requires a life time commitment of hand to hand combat through prayer.  Our only necessary reading materials are the 66 books penned by 40 different authors  in the form of the Bible.

2# Entry Requirements and Fees

  • It's FREE!  - There are no fees for this degree course as Jesus paid your debt at Calvary.
  • Asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins, turning from those sins and believing and trusting in Jesus.
  • Registration is open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year and there never is a waiting list for admission.

3# Practical Assessment and and Placements

Any student that is doing the Degree in Wisdom can relate to the life lessons as being the most painful lessons of the whole course but oh the most fruitful and rewarding!  The lessons are individualized to match each student's unique abilities and learning style.

Those life lessons cover subjects such as:

  • trials
  • persecution
  • temptation
  • illness and suffering
  • unemployment
  • depression
  • addiction
  • covetness, materialism and greed
  • pride
  • idolatry
  • fear and doubt
  • busyness of life
  • bitterness
  • adultery
  • hatred
4# Course Content

It's through these individual life lessons that each of us on the course learns all about the nearness of Christ and the sweet fellowship of fellow Christians.  We see the effects that prayer has on our lives and the lives of others and can understand the battles that others are going through. We can overcome fear and temptation and become totally reliant on God and the sufficiency of His promises.

2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does
not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

5# Course Opportunities

This degree course equips us with:
  • love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control
along with the attributes of:
  • faith, hope, trust, humility, discernment, understanding, courage, knowlege, contentment and WISDOM!
6# Career Opportunities
  • Serving the Lord in Eternity
7# Course outcome

2 Timothy 4:7,8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

One day we'll finish this Masters Degree in Wisdom though some finish the degree much sooner than others and some have much harder lessons to learn than others. A graduation ceremony will take place and through Christ we'll meet our Tutor face to face.  We'll look  back on all of our trials while on the course and realise that they were all mercies in disguise.

He'll give us a white robe and a crown of righteousness.   While next to our names written in the heavenly rolls it will state that we have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, faithful and approved.  Hallelujah!

@Rosie@leavesnbloomShalom, my dear sister. You say, what I try to say, but, in a much more eloquent way. Working for that Wisdom, requires so much more be absorbed in our relationship with Jesus, and like you say, I call my transition to Him, 'Graduation,' not death, for, in Him, I truly never die. AMEN Arley
