SHOOT. EDIT. SUBMIT.

I realize I have been absent on this blog since last week's linkup. This pregnancy is really doing a number on me, and as a result I haven't been blogging or visiting blogs much. I'm hoping once this first trimester passes, I can get back to my blogging routine. Thank you to all my faithful followers and thanks to all the congrats I got when I announced baby girl is going to be a big sister. You all are so wonderful.

The winners this week are....Drum roll please....

I really love this simple portrait.  The split lighting is wonderful (she used a speedlite!).  The emotion evoked in this is truly great.   {Kim}

 Pieces of Contentment
Gorgeous macro shot. Love the lighting and contrasting colors. {Misty}

Maboe
I honestly am not quite sure what this is, obviously a rock formation, but the lines, composition, and tones are fabulous. {Kim}

Alf Photography & Digital Art
Love the editing done on this photo. Great composition too. {Misty}

 Congratulations, winners! Grab your button!

And this week's #1 winner is:
You are shocked, a bug shot. ;)  This is so cool!  I have no idea how she got the bee so sharp and clear, but a slow enough shutter speed to make the wings disappear.  Unbelievable! {Kim}

Congratulations on being chosen as this week's #1 photo. Grab your button! You will be in the running to win a fabulous prize at the end of the month.

Perfect winning shot! I was in awe when I saw it! Feel better soon. Lemon ginger tea sometimes helps a sick tummy. Nibble graham crackers with it. Take care.

Hi. I have never participated in shoot.edit.submit and was wondering if there are themes to the entries or if we just post our favorite photos for the week. Please let me know because I would like to participate.

Wow, the winning photo is unreal. I know how hard it is to capture a bee :)

Hang in there Misti! I know all about the fatigue. I all, but fell off the planet the first trimester and am just coming around again. It is not easy when you have a toddler at home.
