Day 32 - The Light of the World

"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."  Before my daughter was even born, my husband bought her this little light up globe for her room. It's already come in handy several times. I got the idea of taking a picture of the globe from another photog, Noel.

Globes are cool. My problem with having one is some borders change frequently and the globe is out of date. Fortunately, God's love doesn't have anything to do with borders. Great shot!

My boys at 17 still love their globe...we have been really looking at the Egypt area w/ everything going on. I love the way the lighting really brings out the colors!

What a wonderful gift! Globes always fascinated me when I was a child: even in so small a space, something about it's being three dimensional and spinning on an axis made it seem huge and full of the possibility of exploration and adventure.
