Day 40 - Railroad Crossing

I cross over these railroad tracks all the time and as I drove around trying to find something to photograph today I decided this would be my subject of choice. It's actually no longer used for trains but instead for trolleys which definitely makes for a much shorter wait when you get stuck waiting at one.

This is very neat! I need to find some railroad tracks! We don't seem to have very many around us.

I grew up right by a train track! I used to curse them when they made me late for school. Great shot.

Excellent exposure and focus. I like the white background--it's all about the signal itself.

Very good perspective. I really love the processing that you did on this one, also.

Great shot! I've been thinking about photographing a local RR crossing lately also. The weather hasn't been cooperative lately though. Either raining or snowing when I've gone through.

I love the plain background, it really makes the sign pop! Right on w/ the exposure, nice natural colors!

Wouldn't that be lovely with the scripture from Proverbs about "training a child"? I can see it enlarged or on a standout in a little boy's room! I may totally steal this idea for my nephew who loves trains!

I grow up with tracks behind our home. It seemed like we got stopped by a train crossing everytime I was running late for school.

Nice choice for the day.
