This tree just outside my window has been bare for a few months now but just the other day I noticed it has started to blossom again showing that Spring is just around the corner.
I didn't use any presets for this picture. Just bumped the contrast and clarity and adjusted the saturation. I do shoot manual raw images which gives me more freedom to work with my images.
P.S. Congrats to all my other photog peeps who have made it 50 days! Can I get a high-five?
Beautiful! And encouraging! :) What kind of tree is that?
Yay 50! Very pretty picture....looking forward to some signs of spring popping up here.
High Five! Yes, I would like to know what kind of tree that is too. Very pretty! I really should learn how to shoot raw.
That is just gorgeous! It will be a little while before I'm seeing anything like it where I live....
This is beautiful! We should be seeing similar signs any day now...
a wonderful sign for spring, wish it was here...... so fresh crisp and fragile a perfect springcomposition
Very pretty. we have the same little flowers on our plum tree out back.
The only thing we have blooming right now are weeds, but the saucer magnolias should be blooming soon. Beautiful.
it's hard to believe we're 50 days into this year already! Wonderful picture - can't wait to see things blooming around here :)
I am so, so jealous! That is just simply beautiful! No signs of spring here yet (except for some warm temps)!
Beautiful! I can't wait to see flowers here.
Very delicate - nice depth of field. And much prettier than all the snow I can still see.
gorgeous, and much further along than anything that is going to bloom over here.
Yay for 50 days!
Signs of beauty ...
Beautiful and encouraging . . . tomorrow a snow storm is set to arrive here . . . 12 more inches of snow expected. Keep the flower pictures coming.
love it!! so spring!! great DOF
Oh, what beautiful flowers! I can't wait for spring, my favorite time of year. BUT I don't want to wish time by so I try not to get too excited about it.
So happy to hear that you are running! I started 5 years ago and had previously never run in my life. I took baby steps at first then ran my first relay of 5.5 miles and did a bit more each year until this past half marathon. It's a wonderful feeling of clarity while running and relief when you are done. Good luck!
This is lovely! The dark green in the background contrasts so nicely with the soft pink and emphasizes the delicacy of the flowers and branches.
Yay for Spring :)
High five to ya! 50 days is pretty good huh? That budding branch sure looks beautiful. iI can't wait for Spring to get here!!! More snow tonight.
I just love blossom! High Five!!

I love the rich color... it reminds us it is not quite spring yet! This is lovely!
So pretty!! Can't wait for Spring here!

Pink and green. Those colors are a sight for sore eyes.
Beautiful image...I am jealous, though! We just got hit with more snow. I am so ready for Spring!!!
This is a fitting image to celebrate your 50th day. that sharp focus makes the flowers almost glow gainst the soft green background.
