Day 28 - 10 Years

Ok, so I obviously didn't take this picture today but it's sentimental to me. This is me and my dad when I was just a little girl. 10 years ago today my dad went Home to be with the Lord. Accepting Christ as my personal Savior has given me the assurance that I will see him again some day and Heaven is so much sweeter to me now knowing that my dad is there and we will be reunited again. I love you, Dad!

This is a sweet photo. I'm so sorry that you have lost your Dad. You are so right, that we will see loved ones again. I too, am grateful for knowledge of an afterlife, and resurrection. It does make these difficult life experiences easier to bear, when we know it is not the end, and we will see loved ones again.

We rest in the HOPE of the resurrection. What a cute little girl you were. I will be posting a similar photo in February.

Such beautiful memories. I've seen that picture many times, but seeing it posted on your blog brought tears to my eyes. Yes, I am looking forward to seeing Dad too along with seeing my Savior, Jesus Christ. Oh how I love Him.

Thanks for sharing this photo with us and for the testimony you share as well. For those who know the Lord, we will see Him face to face one day. What a comfort to know that you will see your dad again. Prayers and blessings to you!
