Day 26 - Weathered and Worn

I went to a nearby lake today just as the sun was beginning to set and found this beat up canoe resting on the embankment. It's amazing how even with age you can still find great beauty.

Exposure must have been difficult, but nothing's blown out; and all the subtle detail is there for one to enjoy.

lovely old boat. I would pay money to see the ground right now - it's all buried under ice and snow.

I love this shot. Simplicity at it's best, but at the same time it really tells a story.

Lovely photo - and with age comes a different kind of beauty - that of experience and wisdom :-)
