Day 27 - Dead of Winter

By 'dead of winter' I mean that everything is brown and dead looking around here. The green of this gazebo at one of our local lakes at least adds a little bit of pop to the picture though.

Despite it being the 'dead of winter' this is just a gorgeous shot! I love how the green just shines through!!

lovely colors - and many more than we have around here.

Really nice shot! I like the splash of color that came through on the shadows on the rocks and from the trees as well as the green on the gazebo.

Your dead of winter looks quite different from ours. This is a beautiful picture. It's nice to see color since all I've seen recently is white!

An the positive side, at least you are not covered by snow! I love the natural colors in this and that pop of green adds interest! Pretty!

Like your composition. This looks like a great place for walking. The gazebo and your processing do add some colour to the photo. Beautifully done.

I like how the gazebo and bridge are just crystal clear and sharp. Doesn't look like too bad of a winter!

The green and the turquoise of the water add life and depth that contrasts agains the dull wintry tones around them. ("Wintry tone" being a relative term, of course. Here, the only tone we have is white!)
