I remember as a kid sometimes mom would let me dig down the bottom of her purse for spare change and if I happened to find some then I could get some candy or a treat out of one of these machines. Remember the days when a quarter was all it took to satisfy a kid.

Oh yes! This is a great nostalgic photo!
I totally remember when a quarter was all I needed to be satisfied :) Very creative!!
I LOVE this!! What a fun shot.
I remember when Bazooka gum was a penny and candy bar were 5 and 10 cents! What I could have purchased with a quarter.
You may be able to one of those small pieces for a quarter these days! At first I thought you were going to say you'd dig to the bottom of your mom's purse for the candy!! lol! :0)
this is a great shot... i love the perspective you took!
Love the angle you picked for the picture. If only a quarter was all it took now to make a kid happy.
My kids still are satisfied with a quarter. They always beg for quarters when we see these.
I remember the little toys that you could get in these machines. That was always a treat! A very nostalgic image!
Great shot. What photo shop effects did you use?
Very nice! I'm in my 40s and I still bring a quarter to the supermarket so I can buy a gum ball or some other candy.
i love your old fashioned photos. Actually, I remember penny candy. I would always ask my dad for one cent at the store.
and now they need a dollar at least!, great show

What an interesting picture of something so ordinary!

I would occasionally get to do the same thing. Love the angle and processing on this.
Great photo. You can link straight to your blog on my weekly link up if you would like.

Ha yes! I couldn't wait to get to the grocery store..just so I would get 'that quarter'. Love the angle!
Great perspective!

I remember those days! Gorgeous vintage capture!
Such an amazing capture! I love the composition!!
We have a jar like this and I was just thinking it would make a good subject for a photo and then I saw your post. I love what you did with this; your angle is creative and your PP is dreamy. Do you PP in LR or PS? I'm still dying to know how you processed your train photo?
Yes haven't things changed!! :o)
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Like the processing.
Your perspective is enjoyable.
You do outstanding work with angles.
