I have to admit taking picture of flowers is the easiest when you have been lacking inspiration. It takes zip creativity. God made them naturally beautiful and all we have to do is capture it.
Don't be too hard on yourself, Misty. It's just not possible to be creatively charged 24/7. Like you say, flowers are beautiful just as they are, and this shot is lovely.
I also like to sometimes put myself on autopilot creatively-wise but I think some flower photos require creativity so they're not just your every day flower photo. I'm challenging you--when you're up for it, of course, and if you choose to accept it--to do something with a flower that you might not otherwise do. ;-)
That is by the way, a gorgeous flower AND capture!

but still.. you need to be a good photographer to put emotion to your shot and you did that beautifully.
I agree with Valeria! The flowers you're capturing are so pretty.

Just look at the intricate details in this flower! This is what keeps me going back to flower photography.Well done,Misty.
Love the detail and the pop of color.
I don't know....I've seen some bad flower pictures. Yours, though, are fantastic. Love this! Have a great weekend!
