Doesn't this look like a scene out of a fairy tale or a romantic love story or...well doesn't it look so peaceful?! You would never believe where I found this. Back behind our Walmart there is a path that leads back to a pond. There were a few men who worked for the city out there cleaning out some of the overgrowth. I found out after talking to them that one of their boats actually got away from them. Thankfully because of their mishap, I was able to get an awesome photo out of it. :) The backdrop of our stormy skies added so much more emotion to the overall photo.

FYI bugs ... the secret is being stealth, quietly walking, listening for their song, looking for anything hanging on a blade of grass. It takes time, but once you make your first discovery, it's easy. My grasshopper today saw me and didn't like me stalking him. Everytime I'd point the lens, he'd hide behind the stalk of grass he was on. You're such a fantastic photographer, I know when you get the hang of it you will blow everyone out of the water.
